Eliminating unneeded movement reduces wear and tear. We include a built-in grease fitting for maintenance after a weekend of rough riding in the mud and muck. Altogether; this RackBoss 2.0 easily lasts twice as long as any other rack and pinion.
Swaged Tube Tie Rods
Our swaged tube tie rods are tough and light. Their signature flare-out design boosts their strength beyond what the 7/8 diameter tubing could achieve otherwise. Theyre made even tougher with our beefed-up tie rod ends. Our heim joint outer tie rod ends use 14 mm rod threads; and our rebuildable inner ball and sockets use 14 mm rod threads along with 16 mm rack threads. Theyre as tough as they come.
Solid Steel Bar Tie Rods
Our solid steel bar tie rods are big; beefy; and guaranteed not to break for a lifetime. They're made with 1 diameter steel bars.
